TATA YUVA - Guidelines
Membership Registration

To be eligible for YUVA membership, a member must be at least 11 (Middle School) years old.

The academic year membership period is from January to December.

There is a $20/- registration fee for becoming a TATA YUVA Member.

Members need to renew their membership every year.

Members must complete the online registration form, submit a copy of the signed waiver release form, and pay the registration fee.

YUVA Member Parents must be registered TATA Members in the same period.
Volunteer Guidelines:

A member should volunteer a minimum of 20 hours in a year.

All YUVA members must wear YUVA T-shirts for any volunteer events. An exception to wearing badges while volunteering at TATA Cultural events.

Highly recommend attending YUVA monthly meetings without fail.

Announcements will be communicated through email and the TATA YUVA website.

Before volunteering, you must sign up for an event listed by TATA YUVA; otherwise, the hours will not be awarded.

On the event day, volunteers will be responsible for check-in / check-out with the event coordinator.

Hours will be logged based on signup and check-in/check-out times for each event.

For team meetings, Halftime of the attendance is considered for volunteer hours.

If volunteers fail to check in / check out, it will be assumed that the volunteer did not attend the event.

If a member misses three consecutive events they signed up for, He/she cannot sign up for the next two events.

Any in-disciplinary actions by YUVA members anywhere during the events or team meetings are intolerable and will result in expulsion from YUVA.
NEGATIVE HOURS POLICY:
- We will reduce an hour from acquired volunteer hours if members sign up and do not show up for the event without prior notice.
CERTIFICATES:

Volunteers will receive TATA certificates at the end of the year for the volunteer hours they contributed through TATA YUVA events.

Depending on the request from YUVA members/parents, TATA will apply for the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for all members who meet the PVSA eligibility criteria. Members are responsible for paying the PVSA fee.
